Based out of NYC, Pete Ballmer is a stand up comedian with an act that makes audiences feel like they're kinda just hanging with a buddy. Large in both physical size and presence, Pete's comedy often comes from him trying and failing to take up less space in the world.Â
Pete is a paid regular at the SF Punch Line, Cobb's Comedy Club, Rooster T Feathers, Laughs Unlimited and the Sacramento Punch Line. Pete has been featured in SF Sketchfest, the Altercation Comedy Festival, The Last Best Comedy Festival, the Rise Comedy Festival and the Motor City Comedy Festival. Pete is a touring headliner as well as a requested feature for Robby Hoffman, Irene Tu and Danny Jolles.
Pete's pilot script "The House" placed in the top 9% in the half hour category of the WeScreenplay competition and was selected as a quarterfinalist in the Vail Film Festival and the Filmatic Screenplay competition. Additional writing samples available upon request.
